Terms and definitions

The Engee modeling and Technical Computing environment is a family of computer programs, with respect to the use of which this document establishes the rules of use (hereinafter referred to as the Software / Computer program / Engee / SOFTWARE).

User registration and access

After concluding a License Agreement with the Participant, the Copyright Holder creates an Engee account for the administrator of the Participant’s organization, through which the Accounts are administered. Rights granted

The Copyright Holder grants the User, who accepts the terms of this Agreement, the right to use the Engee Simulation and Technical Computing Environment computer program under a simple (non-exclusive) license with the following scope of authority: launch and evaluation of Engee functionality.

Software Usage Restrictions

The User is prohibited from performing the following actions in relation to Engee:

  • to open technology, disassemble, decompile (convert object code into source text), redesign programs, databases, and other software components, except in cases where the possibility of such actions is directly provided for by applicable law.

  • modify the Software, including making changes to the object code of programs or their databases, with the exception of those changes that are made by means included in the software package and described in the documentation.

  • to correct errors/defects and other deviations in the operation of the software.

  • disclose and provide the results of the assessment (testing) to any third parties, with the exception of the Participant.

  • use the Software or any part of it to commit any actions that infringe the copyright on the Software, including the development, production or testing of a computer program containing components or functionality that are substantially similar in their presentation to the presentation contained in the Software or in any part thereof.

  • adapt, translate, copy or transform the software in whole or any part of it in order to create software, the main purpose of which will be to perform the same or similar functions that are available in the software, or which will be used to replace any software component.

  • modify, delete, or conceal any notices of copyrights, trade secrets, patents, trademarks, logos, notices of intellectual property rights, and/or other legal notices contained in the Software or in copies.

  • to access the Software or use Software components for which the User does not have licensed access or use rights.

  • disclose or transfer login credentials to a third party to a third party, or to allow their use by a third party.

  • disable or circumvent any technical limitations provided by the Software, or ignore such limitations.

  • use it in any illegal way.

A user who has access to Engee has the right to use the Software exclusively personally. Providing the possibility of using Engee to third parties is prohibited. To provide an opportunity to use Engee applies to third parties, including, but not limited to:

The Copyright holder does not guarantee uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Software. Validity period and features of using the Engee evaluation version
