Sinusoidal Force Source

Source of sinusoidal force.

Description

The Sinusoidal Force Source block represents a constant displacement sinusoidal force source. A positive force value generates a force acting from port B to port F.

The defining equation for the sinusoidal force:

where

  • - output force;

  • - is the displacement of the output force;

  • - amplitude of the sinusoid;

  • - frequency of the sinusoid in Hz;

  • - time;

  • - phase shift of the sinusoid.
