Tap-Changer
Determination of the transformer’s RPN branch number.
blockType: SubSystem
Path in the library:
|
Description
Block Tap-Changer determines the number of the transformer’s RPN branch. Connect the Tap output to the Tap input of the unit Three-Winding Transformer (Three-Phase) to control the transformation coefficient. At the same time, the values of the block parameters are Tap-Changer They must correspond to the parameters of the same name in the transformer.
If for the parameter Mode the value is set Tap control, the position of the branch is controlled by the input signal. If for the parameter Mode the value is set Voltage regulation The position of the branch is controlled by an internal voltage regulator, which compares the input signal with the reference voltage.
Ports
Entrance
# c is the control input used to control the position of the RPN branch
+
scalar
Details
The signal used to control the position of the transformer’s RPN branch. The position of the transformer branch increases when the input signal c becomes greater than the set value of the parameter Threshold. The position of the branch decreases when the input signal c becomes less than the negative value of the parameter Threshold.
The new branch position takes effect after the expiration of the time specified in the parameter Tap selection time, s.
Dependencies
To use this port, set the parameter Mode meaning Tap control.

# V_pu is a voltage measurement signal used to control the position of the RPN branch
+
scalar
Details
The signal used to control the position of the RPN branch of a transformer with an internal voltage regulator. Use the voltage value in relative units (OE) measured on the secondary winding or on the remote busbar.
The position of the transformer branch increases when the difference between the input signal V_pu and the parameter value Reference voltage Vref, pu the parameter value is getting larger Dead band, pu, divided by 2, for a time exceeding the value of the parameter Delay, s.
The branch position decreases when the difference between the input signal V_pu and the parameter value Reference voltage Vref, pu becomes less than the negative value of the parameter Dead band, pu, divided by 2, for a time exceeding the value of the parameter Delay, s.
Dependencies
To use this port, set the parameter Mode meaning Voltage regulation.
