Induction Machine Measurement

Measuring the values of asynchronous machine variables.

blockType: AcausalElectricPowerSystems.Electromechanical.Asynchronous.MachineMeasurement

Path in the library:

Description

Block Induction Machine Measurement outputs the values of variables received from the block Induction Machine Squirrel Cage. Block entry Induction Machine Measurement it is connected to the output port of the asynchronous machine unit.

The Output parameter defines the value to be output. Depending on the selected value, the block Induction Machine Measurement:

  • Directly outputs the value of the element in the input vector

    Or

  • Calculates the value in relative units based on the other elements of the input vector.

Block Induction Machine Measurement outputs the value of the asynchronous machine variable according to the expressions given in the table. For example, when setting the Output parameter to Stator d-axis voltage the block outputs the value of the element directly v_ds_pu in the input vector. However, when setting the Output parameter to Slip, the block calculates the sliding value by subtracting the value of the element velocity_pu from 1.
