OFDM Modulation

OFDM modulation.

ofdm modulation

Description

The OFDM Modulation block performs OFDM modulation of the input array depending on the input signal configuration in the block parameters.

Ports

Input

# PDSCHGrid — input signal as a complex matrix
matrix

Details

The input signal returned as a complex matrix.

Data types

ComplexF64.

Complex numbers support

Yes

Output

# txWaveform — modulated output signal as a complex matrix
matrix

Details

Modulated output signal returned as a complex matrix.

Data types

ComplexF64.

Parameters

Carrier

# NCellID — physical layer cell identifier
Real number

Details

A physical layer cell identifier specified as an integer from 0 to 1007.

Default value

1

Program usage name

ncellid

# NSizeGrid — number of resource blocks in the operator’s resource grid
Real number

Details

The number of resource blocks in the operator’s resource grid, specified as an integer from 1 to 275.

The by default value of 52 corresponds to the maximum number of RBSs for a 10 MHz carrier and a 15 kHz SCS.

Default value

51

# Subcarrier spacing (kHz) — subcarrier spacing in kHz
15 | 30 | 60 | 120

Details

Subcarrier spacing, in kHz, for all channels and carrier reference signals. Specified as 15, 30, 60 or 120.

Values

15 | 30 | 60 | 120

Default value

15

# CyclicPrefix — cyclic prefix length
Normal | Extended

Details

The length of the cyclic prefix. Options to choose from:

  • Normal - Use this value to specify a normal cyclic prefix. This parameter corresponds to 14 OFDM characters in a slot.

  • Extended - use this value to specify an extended cyclic prefix. This parameter corresponds to 12 OFDM characters in the slot. For the numbering specified in section 4.2 of TS 38.211, the extended cyclic prefix length applies only to the 60 kHz subcarrier interval.
