Perfect Channel Estimate
Estimation of the ideal channel.
blockType: PerfectChannelEstimate
Path in the library:
|
Description
The Perfect Channel Estimate block performs channel estimation by reconstructing the channel impulse response based on the parameters of the block and then performing OFDM demodulation.
Parameters

#
NCellID —
physical layer cell identifier
Real number
Details
A physical layer cell identifier specified as an integer from 0 to 1007.

#
NSizeGrid —
number of remote objects in the telecom operator’s resource table
Real number
Details
The number of remote objects in the service provider’s resource table, specified as an integer from 1 to 275. The by default value of 51
corresponds to the maximum number of resource blocks for a 10 MHz carrier and a subcarrier spacing of 15 kHz.

| 60
| 120
Details
Subcarrier spacing in kHz for all channels and carrier reference signals.
Selectable values: 15
or 30
for FR1, 60
or 120
for FR2.

CyclicPrefix —
cyclic prefix length
Normal
| Extended
Details
The length of the cyclic prefix. Options to choose from:
-
Normal
- Use this value to specify a normal cyclic prefix. This parameter corresponds to 14 OFDM characters in a slot. -
Extended
- use this value to specify an extended cyclic prefix. This parameter corresponds to 12 OFDM characters in the slot. For the numbering specified in the standard [1] in section 4.2, the extended cyclic prefix length applies only for 60 kHz subcarrier spacing.
