Description

Connect the block Delta Reference (Three-Phase) to any part of a three-phase system in which the windings are connected according to the Triangle scheme. The block represents a reference point for windings connected by a triangle, representing the center of the linear voltage vector of the triangle. The program calculates the absolute node voltages relative to the voltage at this reference point.

For example, suppose you are modeling a power transmission system consisting of a generator connected according to the Star scheme, a Star-Triangle transformer, a Triangle-Star transformer and a load connected according to the Star scheme. Connect the block Delta Reference (Three-Phase) to the part of the circuit between two transformers.

For more information about the operating modes of a three-phase system connected according to the Triangle scheme, see Recommendations for delta connection of transformer windings.
