Description

Block Power (dq0, Instantaneous) calculates three-phase instantaneous active and reactive power from a periodic set of three-phase voltages and currents expressed in the coordinate system .

Calculations are performed using the following formulas:

The Inputs Vdq0 and Idq0 (straight axis, quadrature axis and zero sequence components) of the three-phase voltage and current are usually connected to the outputs of the conversion unit Park Transform. According to these formulas, the current flowing in the RL circuit creates a positive value P and a positive value Q. The calculated instantaneous reactive power is accurate only for balanced and harmonic-free three-phase voltages and currents.
