Description
Block Absolute Reference (G) It represents a reference point for pressure and temperature in the gas network. At port A, the pressure and temperature are zero.
Unlike other domains, where each topologically separate circuit within the domain must contain at least one reference block, this requirement is absent in gas networks.
The purpose of the block Absolute Reference (G) is the provision of a benchmark for Pressure & Temperature Sensor (G). To measure the absolute pressure and absolute temperature of a node, connect this node to the A port of the unit Pressure & Temperature Sensor (G). Connect the B port of the unit Pressure & Temperature Sensor (G) with a block Absolute Reference (G).
If you use the block Absolute Reference (G) more than once in the same gas network, this will cause simulations, since the pressure and temperature of the gas cannot be equal to absolute zero.
It is not recommended to use this block. Instead, take absolute measurements using the block Pressure & Temperature Sensor (G) by setting the Measurement type parameter to Absolute.
