Infinite Flow Resistance (IL)

A perfectly isolated break in the isothermal fluid network.

blockType: AcausalFoundation.IsothermalLiquid.Elements.InfiniteFlowResistance

Path in the library:

/Physical Modeling/Fundamental/Isothermal Liquid/Elements/Infinite Flow Resistance (IL)

Description

Block Infinite Flow Resistance (IL) It is a break in the network of an isothermal fluid. There is no liquid flow through the gap.

However, the properties of the liquid are set using the block Isothermal Liquid Properties (IL) connected to the network, will be identical at both ends of the gap.

Variables

Use the parameter group Initial Targets to set the priority and initial target values for the block parameter variables before modeling. For more information, see Configuring physical blocks using target values.
