Description
Block Controlled Heat Flow Rate Source It is an ideal source of thermal energy, powerful enough to maintain a given heat flow at the outlet regardless of the temperature difference on it.
A and B are thermal ports corresponding to the Input and output of the source. Port S is a physical port through which a control signal is applied that sets the heat flow. You can use all the variety of Engee signal sources to create the desired heat flux change profile. The heat flow through the source is directly proportional to the signal on the control port S.
The positive direction of the block is from port A to port B. This means that a positive signal on the S port creates a heat flow in the direction from A to B.
Ports
Input
S — heat flow control signal, W
scalar
The signal input port that sets the heat flow through the source.
A — Input of the pass source:q[
] heat
The thermal port corresponding to the Input of the source.
B — pass source output:q[
] heat
The thermal port corresponding to the source output.
