Description
Block Controlled Temperature Source It is an ideal source of thermal energy, powerful enough to maintain a given temperature difference on it, regardless of the heat flow in the system.
A and B are thermal ports corresponding to the Input and output of the source. Port S is a physical port through which a control signal is sent that sets the temperature. You can use all the variety of Engee signal sources to create the desired temperature change profile. The temperature at the source is directly proportional to the signal at the control port S.
The positive direction of the block is from port A to port B. This means that the temperature difference is defined as , where and — temperatures at the source ports.
Ports
Input
S — temperature control signal, To
scalar
Signal input port that specifies the temperature difference at the source.
A — Input of the pass source:q[
] heat
The thermal port corresponding to the Input of the source.
B — pass source output:q[
] heat
The thermal port corresponding to the source output.
