Controlled Temperature Source
Controlled temperature source.
Description
The Controlled Temperature Source unit presents an ideal thermal energy source, powerful enough to maintain a set temperature difference on it, regardless of the heat flow in the system.
A and B are the thermal ports corresponding to the input and output of the source. Port S is the physical port through which the control signal that sets the temperature is supplied. You can use the full variety of Engee signal sources to create the desired temperature change profile. The temperature at the source is directly proportional to the signal at the S control port.
The positive direction of the block is from port A to port B. This means that the temperature difference is defined as , where and are the temperatures at the source ports.
