Description
Unit High-Frequency Exciter is an electro-machine high-frequency excitation, the exciter output voltage depends on its rotational speed, and the exciter shaft is connected to the generator shaft.
The unit High-Frequency Exciter can be used as an exciter in a synchronous generator model with a control system, which is shown in the diagram.
The mathematical model High-Frequency Exciter is presented in the diagram.

Parameters
Main
# Exciter field time constant T_e, s — the time constant of the pathogen
Details
The time constant of the pathogen, in seconds.
Typically, the value of the exciter time constant for an electric machine excitation system is 0.3–0.5 s, for a thyristor it is 0.02—0.04 s.
