Voltage-Controlled Voltage Source

A voltage source that is voltage controlled.

voltage controlled voltage source

Description

The Voltage-Controlled Voltage Source block represents a linear voltage controlled voltage source described by the following equation:

where:

  • - output voltage;

  • - gain;

  • , - potential values at the control terminals.

To use the unit, connect the + and - ports on the left side of the unit (control ports) to the control voltage source. The two ports on the right side of the block (output ports) represent the output voltage source. Polarity is indicated by + and −.

Ports

The block has four electrical ports. The + and - connections on the left side of the unit are control ports and represent the control circuit terminals. The other two ports represent the output voltage source terminals. Polarity is indicated by + and −.

Parameters

Voltage gain - gain factor
`1 (By default)

Ratio of output current to control voltage; dimensionless coefficient.

Initial value of input voltage v1 - initial value of input voltage v1
`0 (By default)

Initial value of input (control) voltage .

Initial value of output voltage v2 - initial value of output voltage v2
0 (By default)

Initial value of output voltage .
