Description

Block Simple Unit Conversion translates the input value of the physical quantity specified in the parameter Physical Quantity, from units of measurement Input Unit in units of measurement Output Unit. The list of measurement units depends on the selected physical quantity.

It is convenient to use the block in combination with the input and output ports of physical modeling, which in most cases have SI values (the units of measurement of ports are specified in the documentation for the corresponding block). It should be noted that the validation of the consistency of units of measurement in the input/output ports of the physical modeling units and the block Simple Unit Conversion No.

Also, the block does not set any attributes related to units of measurement to the input and output signals, but only converts the input value to the output value according to the selected units of measurement.
