Discontinuities
In the Discontinuities of the basic library of blocks, you can model systems with nonlinear behaviour, including the effects of backlash, saturation and dynamic limiting of signals. These blocks allow you to control signal transitions, limit signal changes, and generate and discretise pulsed signals, which is important for modelling complex systems with nonlinear characteristics.
- Backlash
-
A model of the behavior of a system with backlash.
- Dead Zone
-
Specifies a zone with a zero output signal.
- Dead Zone Dynamic
-
Specifies a dynamic zone with zero output signal.
- Hit Crossing
-
Detection of the signal transition through a preset value.
- PWM
-
Generates an ideal signal with pulse width modulation in accordance with the input signal of the well.
- Quantizer
-
Samples the input signal at a predetermined interval.
- Rate Limiter
-
The limiting rate of change of the signal.
- Rate Limiter Dynamic
-
Dynamic limitation of the rate of change of the signal.
- Relay
-
Switching the output between two constants.
- Saturation
-
Limiting the input signal at the top and bottom (saturation).
- Saturation Dynamic
-
Dynamic limitation of the input signal from above and below (saturation).
- Variable Pulse Generator
-
Generation of an ideal, time-varying pulse signal.
- Wrap To Zero
-
Reset to zero if the input signal exceeds the threshold value.
