Detect Increase

Detection of the signal edge.

blockType: Detect Increase

Path in the library:

/Basic/Logic and Bit Operations/Detect Increase

Description

Block Detect Increase determines that the current value of the input signal is strictly greater than the previous one.

  • The output signal takes the value true (1) if the current value of the input signal is greater than its previous value.

  • The output signal takes the value false (0) if the current value of the input signal is less than or equal to its previous value.

This block can only be used with discrete solvers.

Ports

Input

# IN_1 — Input signal
scalar | vector | the matrix

Details

The input signal is in the form of a scalar, vector or matrix.

Output

# OUT_1 — Output signal
scalar | vector | the matrix

Details

Output signal, detects an increase in the value of the signal. The output can be a scalar, a vector, or a matrix.

  • The output signal takes the value true (1) if the current value of the input signal is greater than its previous value.

  • The output signal takes the value false (0), if the current value of the input signal is less than or equal to its previous value.
