Description
Block Fundamental Reluctance It is a simplified model of magnetic resistance, that is, a component that resists magnetic flux. Unlike the block Reluctance, which calculates the resistance based on the geometry of the simulated section, block Fundamental Reluctance allows you to specify the resistance value directly as a block parameter.
The block is based on the following equation:
where
-
— magnetomotive force (MDS) on the component;
-
— flow through the component;
-
— magnetic resistance.
The N and S connections are magnetic ports. The MDS through resistance is determined by the expression , and the sign of the magnetic flux is positive when flowing from N to S.
Variables
Use the parameter group Initial Targets to set the priority and initial target values for the block parameter variables before modeling. For more information, see Configuring physical blocks using target values.
