Description
Block Fundamental Reluctance It is a simplified model of magnetic resistance, that is, a component that resists magnetic flux. Unlike the block Reluctance, which calculates the resistance based on the geometry of the simulated section, block Fundamental Reluctance allows you to specify the resistance value directly as a block parameter.
The block is based on the following equation:
,
Where:
-
— magnetomotive force (MDS) on the component.
-
— flow through the component.
-
— magnetic resistance.
N and S connections are magnetic ports. MDS through resistance is defined by the expression , and the sign of the magnetic flux is positive when flowing through the device from N to S.
Ports
N — north terminal
magnetism
The magnetic port corresponding to the north terminal of the unit.
S — south terminal
magnetism
The magnetic port corresponding to the southern terminal of the unit.
Parameters
Reluctance, 1/H — magnetic resistance
80000 1/Gn (by default)
The ratio of the magnetomotive force (MDS) on the component to the resulting flow passing through the component.
Initial value of flux, Wb — initial value of the flow
0 (by default)
The initial value of the stream.
Initial value of MMF, A — initial value of MMF
0 (by default)
The initial value of the MDS.
