Description

The Supply Rail unit represents an ideal negative or positive power rail. Use the Supply rail type parameters to select the type of rail.

Use this block instead of the DC Voltage Source block to determine the output voltage relative to the Electrical Reference block, which must be present in every model.

Do not connect more than one Negative Supply Rail or Positive Supply Rail unit to any connected line.

Ports

+ - positive voltage
electricity

An electrical port associated with the positive voltage of the power bus.

Dependencies

To use this port, set the Supply rail type parameters to Positive.

- - negative voltage
electricity

An electrical port associated with the negative voltage of the power bus.

Dependencies

To use this port, set the Supply rail type parameters to `Negative'.

Parameters

Supply rail type - bus type
Negative (by default) | Positive

Specify the tyre type.

Constant voltage - constant output voltage
-1 V (by default).

Voltage at the output port relative to the unit ground port Electrical Reference.
