Description

Block Wye-Connected Variable Load simulates a variable three-phase load connected according to the Star scheme. Each phase of the load contains a resistor. The unit calculates the resistance required to obtain an active power equal to the signal at the input port P at a given rated voltage. Thus, the block can represent an active load.

To ensure that the resistance is always greater than zero, the minimum active power consumed by the load is set. The minimum active power must be greater than zero.

Equations

Resistance is defined as follows:

Where:

  • — sequential resistance of each phase.

  • — RMS rated line voltage.

  • — Required three-phase active power.

Ports

Input

P — active power
scalar

Signal input port associated with active power.

Undirected

~ — Three-phase port pass:Q[<br>] electricity

Three-phase electrical port for connecting the load to the network.

n — neutral
electricity

The electrical port corresponds to the neutral point of the star.

Parameters

Main

Rated voltage — rated line voltage
24e3 V (by default)

The RMS value of the nominal line voltage for the resistance equation.

Minimum real power — minimum active power
1E3W (by default)

The minimum active power that a three-phase load dissipates when the rated voltage is applied. The value must be greater than 0.
