The Model Navigation Pane is a tool for working with models in the Engee workspace.

Creating a new model

To create a new model, click img2 in the Navigation bar. The first time you start the system, a new model is created automatically.

Some Engee blocks may contain other blocks, creating a nested structure. The navigation bar is used to easily navigate through such blocks. To navigate through the nesting levels, open the navigation menu using the model navigation 5 button:

Then select the desired option:

  • Forward model navigation 2 - go to the next view;

  • Back model navigation 3 - go back to the previous view;

  • Up model navigation 4 - go up a level higher.

Opening a model from Files

To open an existing model, click File Browser img4. A file browser window will open, find the desired model and double-click on it with the left mouse button. The model will appear in the Navigation Pane.

Saving a model

The symbol * after the model name in the Navigation bar means that the model has not been saved.

To save a model, right-click on the model and then click:

  • Save as for a new (not saved in the file browser) model.

  • Save or Save as for a previously created model.

Next, you can change the name of the model in the file browser. To rename a model, right-click on the desired model, then click on Rename. Enter the new model name and press Enter.

Switching between open models

To switch between open models, left-click on the desired model in the Navigation bar.
