Modelling a mechanical rotational system with a friction element
In this example, the modelling of a mechanical rotating system with a friction element will be demonstrated. Inertia is coupled to the support by means of a spring and a damper. It is driven by a velocity source through a friction element. It, in turn, has a difference between detachment and Coulomb friction, resulting in discontinuous motion.
