RC circuit modelling¶
This example shows two RC circuit models, one using directional blocks and the other using physical modelling library blocks.
The base library blocks use directional connections that define how data is transferred from one block to another. The physics blocks use non-directional connections that define the bidirectional flow of mass or energy between components. Such blocks allow additional stages to be added to an RC circuit simply by copying and pasting. Directional models require the equations to be revised and re-implemented.
The circuit is driven by a generator of rectangular pulses that characterise the voltage.
