Section Signal Operations includes tools for analysing and converting signals.

The section describes calculation of periodograms, filtering, application of window functions and linear prediction, which is suitable for audio signal analysis and processing tasks. High-performance Fourier transforms are described, as well as specialised mathematical transforms, including work with harmonics and Chebyshev polynomials.

Real-time handling of audio devices is described. Wavelet transform capabilities are available, useful for analysing signals on different time scales.
